On February 14th 2017, Northern Branch Monthly meeting was held at the New Mt. Hope Women's Centre Conference room at 4;00pm. The meeting was led by Branch Chair Ms. Letitia Cox.
At the meeting members were brought up to date with the business of the TTRNA and new and exciting plans to grow and strengthen the fraternity unveiled. Members were encouraged to continue sharing the progress of the association as TTRNA moves forward to RMU status. The New Executive have made a number of Courtesy calls to meet the various Regional Health Authority CEO’s and have been addressing member concerns once brought forward as necessary.
The President of TTRNA , Chair of Northern Branch and other executive members met with Northcentral Regional Health Authority Human Resource and General Manager of Nursing on February 20th 2017, (Full story on webpage ttrna.org.), and The North West Regional Health Authority CEO on January 11th 2017. Other regions met by the TTRNA Executive are Eastern Regional Health Authority CEO and Management on February 2nd 2017 and South West Regional Health Authority Management on January 19th 2017.

Upcoming Events at branch and national level were discussed, e.g. Branch Cookout and fundraisers date to be finalized. National events details posted on website. Immediately following the business part of the meeting members were treated to Valentines Day refreshments of wine, cheese and chocolates to celebrate NURSES and build team spirit. The event was a success and nursing staff took a rare moment to breathe easy and feel appreciated by their own. Northern Branch welcomed new members to the meeting, and two persons won prizes of tickets to Movie town to continue the celebration and Two door prizes were also distributed.
