TTRNA successfully completed the Care Giver Training programme on behalf of the Office of the Prime Minister. This programme sought to produce well rounded Care Givers that will have a positive impact at our Community Residences for Children. Using the ‘Holden 2009’ model for improving services for children in out-of home care, it is geared towards child care providers to organize and deliver quality care of children according to research-informed principles.
With almost three (3) decades of experience in quality education in basic nursing and child care programs, the TTRNA Academy was an appropriate fit to deliver this intensive three (3) month programme at its classroom and in the field. TTRNA looks forward to continued partnerships with the Office Of the Prime Minister - Gender and Child Affairs, and the Minister in the Ministry of the Prime Minister, the Honourable Ayanna Webster-Roy, as we continue to improve the lives of our citizens.
