The Trinidad and Tobago Registered Nurses Association wishes to announce the passing of Dr. Jean Grayson today (1st September, 2016) at the EWMSC.

Dr. Grayson was a former Chief Nursing Officer, Ministry of Health, a member of the Board, International Council of Nurses, Past President of TTRNA and Past President of the Nursing Council of T&T.

Further details would be given as information comes to hand.

The Association extends sympathy to her relatives and friends. May God comfort and strengthen them in this time of grief.

The TTRNA invites you to attend the 30th BIENNIAL Conference of the Caribbean Nurses Organisation, in the beautiful island of the twin islands of Antigua and Barbuda.  This gives you the opportunity to continue with your professional education while you interact with your Caribbean and North American colleagues.

*We are seeking the support of your attendance.

One major challenge in nursing today is the delivery of quality patient care and therefore the theme: “NURSING AND MIDWIVES: PIONEERS IN HEALTH CARE” aptly addresses this challenge.  At the end of this Conference, participants will identify the dynamics of our profession from pioneer status to scientific, technological, savy profession.

The cost of the Conference package is inclusive of Registration, Airfare and Hotel Accommodation for seven nights.

N.B A valid passport is necessary for six months from October 2016 to March 2017.

TTRNA Meets Honourable Minister of Labour Mrs. Jennifer Baptiste-Primus

A delegation from TTRNA comprising of Mrs Gwendolyn Loobie-Snaggs,President, Mrs. Valerie Alleyne-Rawlins Immediate Past President/Adviser, Mr. Idi Stuart Member and Mrs Marcia Rollock PRO of TTAM met with the Honourable Minister of Labour Mrs. Jennifer Baptiste-Primus and her Permanent Secretary on October 07, 2015 at the Ministry of Labour.
