TTRNA took up the case of comrade Aldwyn George RN, who have not had his salary adjusted for the last 10 years and had never been paid increments since commencing employment within the NCRHA.
After trying unsuccessfully with other unions and private lawyers, he came to TTRNA in 2017, where we were able to show the Ministry of Labour, the error the employer was making in treating with Extended Sick Leave.
TTRNA is pleased that after four months of intervention, the NCRHA has seen the wisdom in our argument and has since commenced his correct salary with all increments added.
As we continue to bring you update on our many cases underway, we continue to encourage nursing personnel to bring all your IR issues to the TTRNA, for prompt and reliable representation, by Nurses for Nurses.
LONG LIVE THE TTRNA
