BASIC & ADVANCED HOME CARE

BASIC & ADVANCED CHILD CARE

VENUES - PORT OF SPAIN AND SAN FERNANDO

BASIC HOME CARE – 11^th August – 8^th December, 2018

Participants develop skills and competence related to caring for the elderly or infirmed person in the home environment

ADVANCED HOME CARE – 18^th August – 24^th November, 2018

Prepares the participant to care for persons with chronic degenerative conditions; HIV/AIDS

Pre-Requisite - Certificate in Basic Home Care

BASIC CHILD CARE – 11^th August – 8^th December, 2018

Participants learn to care for children 0-5 years in the home or nursery. Includes recognition of illness and ailment in children.

ADVANCED CHILD CARE – 18^th August – 24^th November, 2018

Participants develop the knowledge and skills to care for children 6-12 years. Including care for the challenged child

Pre-requisite – Certificate in Basic Child Care

REGISTRATION – Non-refundable fee of $50.00. One (1) form of identification: PP/DP/ID Card

                              Two (2) passport size pictures. Police Certificate of Character                            

Time for Registration 9:00am – 3:00pm

San Fernando – TTRNA’S Office, Nurses Hostel, San Fernando General Hospital, from 9^th – 13^th July, 2018

Port of Spain – TTRNA’S Nursing Academy, Annex, 25-26 Victoria Square, Duke Street West Port of Spain, from 9^th -20^th July, 2018
